In short

The triangle means the translation of this phrase is longer than the original and does not fit before the next phrase starts. The voice is already sped up to the maximum, 35%, but still lags and pushes the following phrases.

Why it happens #

A translation is usually longer than the original: Russian text is 15–30% longer than English. If the speaker talks fast without pauses, the time margin runs out. A small speed-up is unnoticeable, but above 35% speech sounds unnatural, so we do not go further.

How to fix it #

  1. Press "Shorten with AI" next to the phrase. The model rewrites it shorter with the neighbouring phrases in mind so the meaning stays. If you do not like the result, there is "Restore".
  2. Or shorten it in your own words: drop filler words, repetitions, replace long constructions.
  3. Press "Re-voice". The triangle disappears if the phrase fits.

Shortening itself is free; minutes are charged only at re-voicing, see What uses minutes.

If there are many triangles #

That happens with fast lectures and dense monologues. Turn on "Check the text first, then dub" at upload: you will see the triangles before the first dubbing and fix the text without extra charges.

A separate triangle labelled "Needs editing" means recognition is unsure about this phrase's text: check it against the original.
