In short
The "Error" status means processing stopped and the minutes have already been returned to your balance. The error text is shown when you hover over the status. A task with an error disappears from the list after a day.
What the text means #
| Message | What happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Provider network failures | A temporary failure on our side or at the recognition, translation or dubbing service | Run again in 10–15 minutes |
| Service overloaded | The queue for voice separation or recognition is full | Try later |
| Speech not recognized | No speech found in the video: music without words, too quiet, or the wrong source language | Check the source language and that there is speech |
| File corrupted, Invalid file format, File type not supported | The file cannot be read or has no audio track | Re-save as MP4 (H.264 + AAC) or MP3 and upload again |
| Cannot download the YouTube video | YouTube did not hand over the video | Download the video and upload it as a file |
| Dubbing error, minutes returned | The voice engine could not voice the text | Run again; if it repeats with a clone, pick another voice |
| Text fragment rejected by the provider's filter | The engine's filter did not pass a phrase | Rephrase it in the editor |
| Speech alignment error, File encoding error | The final file could not be assembled | Run again; if it repeats, write to support |
| Task got stuck during processing | Processing ran for more than 2 hours | Create the task again |
| Translation error | Both translation services failed | Try later |
Lip sync errors are shown inside the editor on the "Lip sync" tab; the translation is not affected, see Lip sync.
If the error repeats #
Write to support in Telegram or at support@speeek.io: your ID from the account, the video name, the error text. If the video is unusual, for example a screen recording or a voice recorder file, attach it: re-encoding to a regular MP4 often helps.
Errors at upload, before launch, are covered in The file will not upload.
