In short

The editor opens when you click a finished translation. On the left are the original and the translation by phrase, on the right the video and the "Speaker voices", "Sound" and "Lip sync" tabs. It works on a computer: on a phone or a narrow screen only the video and the "Download" and "Translate into another language" buttons are shown.

The main rule #

Edits save themselves, the cloud in the header shows the state. But they reach the video and files only after the "Re-voice" button. Until then the previous version is downloaded, and the "Old version" badge hangs above the player.

Before re-voicing the price is shown: 2,000 characters of re-voiced phrases = 1 minute, the remainder carries over to the next time. The whole video is never charged again, see Will minutes be charged a second time for edits.

What you can do #

  • Edit the translation text right in the phrase. The original is shown for reference; editing it does not change the dubbing.
  • Change the start and end of a phrase, format mm:ss.ms.
  • Reassign a phrase to another speaker.
  • Delete a phrase with the bin and restore it if you change your mind.
  • Mark a phrase "Voice again" without editing the text, if you did not like the stress or intonation.
  • Change a speaker's voice on the "Speaker voices" tab. All of their phrases are re-voiced.
  • Shorten a long phrase with "Shorten with AI", see Red triangle next to a phrase.
  • Adjust track volumes on the "Sound" tab, see Background, original and volume.

What you cannot do yet #

  • Split, merge or add a phrase.
  • Listen to one phrase on its own: dubbing runs as a whole via "Re-voice".
  • Undo a text edit. There is no version history.
  • Save an empty phrase: add text or delete it with the bin, otherwise "Re-voice" stays disabled.
  • Save while dubbing or lip sync is running.

For how many days the editor is available #

A finished translation can be edited for 30 days from the last change, a Free preview for 5 days. After that the working files are deleted, the editor closes, and the finished files remain available for download, see What you can download and how long a translation is kept.
